COUNTY PUBLIC RELATIONS UPDATE:
“The information posted on this blog, which has also been shared on social media that claims that Delaware County Memorial Hospital and Springfield Hospital will be converted to house immigrants in Delaware County is not true. There is absolutely no truth to this rumor. Some social media posts also claim that County Council voted on the decision to use the hospitals to house immigrants in Delaware County. There is absolutely no truth to that rumor either.
Delaware County Memorial Hospital and Springfield Hospital are owned by Prospect Medical Holdings and both hospitals are currently for sale. The County does not have the authority to vote on the use of the buildings. In order to ease the concerns of residents, the County contacted Prospect Medical Holdings and were informed that the rumors circulating are absolutely false and that Delaware County Memorial Hospital and Springfield Hospital will be not converted to house immigrants in Delaware County.”
It’s important to note that NGO’s(Non Government Agencies, like HIAS, are Non profit organizations that have acquired(in other states) hospitals much like Delaware County and Springfield in order to convert them into non profit illegal immigrant shelters.
I stand by my sources and whether this is a county decision or not, I trust the individuals who fed me the story and truly believe getting the word out early is the best way to prevent this from happening in our own backyard.
ORIGINAL POST: As I await the Delaware County Council to confirm, I have confirmed with 3 confidential sources close to the work in progress that the now Shuttered Delaware County Memorial and Springfield Hospitals will be converted to house illegal immigrants in Delaware county.
You now must wonder, did the County Council plan for this ahead of time when they shuttered these 2 much needed medical facilities in Delaware county.?
Oh hell no! They are probably one of the reasons they had to close in the first place. Last time I was there I had to wait 10 hours in the ER and suffer behind 30 illegal aliens because they could afford to have a party where they got food poisoning. Imagine the bill that accumulated that day alone they won’t get back.

Yes. You are correct. DCMH was a maternity hospital that could not keep servicing uninsured illegals.

Delco became a sanctuary county in 2014 under the Republicans. Now the Democrats are bringing in armies of illegals for their own purposes. They are both selling out Americans. Gotta stand up neighbors! Please contact me. Let’s organize something. Start by showing up at the Delco Council meeting this Wednesday night March 6, 2024, at the Gov Center in back of the Delco Courthouse in Media, beginning at 6pm to make a public comment about how you feel about this matter. Illegals are stressing out law enforcement, human services, healthcare, and education. We are inundated with fentanyl. They are receiving many benefits that we pay for thru our taxes! Do something! Show up on Wednesday. Also, on Thursday, March 7, at 6pm at Gatsby’s Bar and Grill, Town Hall – Topic…”Is Delco a Border County?” Let’s rally to save our communities!

Someone posted a map and Chuck is correct – Delco is a sanctuary city. Sorry about that. There doesn’t seem to be a way to delete my initial comment; I was wrong.

I travel allot and everywhere I go I need a visa, they want a vaccine record an address of where I am staying, how long will I be in their country, do I have a return ticket. The other problem is we don’t make them pay taxes and it is bankrupting the system.
I live near the hospital and I vote No and yes for Donald Trump. Stop illegal immigration.

Chuckles,
This was just forwarded to me as the response received from Delaware County Council when a concerned Delco resident inquired to find out if this information was accurate:
“Dear _______ ,
The blog you reference is spreading a paranoid fantasy, doubtlessly because it is a presidential election year and some candidates are raising the bogeyman of immigration at every opportunity. Are you sure it isn’t a ChatAI generated site designed to attract attention without any basis in reality? As far as Delaware County is concerned, I literally have no idea what you are talking about. The County does not control those properties. If it did, my primary goal would be to use them to provide much needed health care services to the County, just as they were built to do.
I hope this reassures you. Please take the time to look into the source of these rumors if you do not see some confirmation on the County’s website. We are trying to be transparent about our decision making.

I wish I was ChatAi, unfortunately my “paranoid fantasies” are what has been conveyed to me by my sources. And they’re not wrong.

Considering hospitals all over the place are in fact doing this , it is worth looking into. Maybe Christine’s response was AI generated 🤔

Hi Chuckles. I am disappointed that you did not post my previous comment, but I do understand that you are trying to verify the information. I do not have any confirmation about the use of the hospitals to house illegals, but I do know that hotels are being used for that purpose and that Delco has been a sanctuary county since 2014. Citizens have to pressure the Delco Council to revoke that status, or eventually people will be housed at your house and mine. So, do you believe Christine Reuther’s denials? I don’t know you but I believe you before I believe her.

Thanks Chucky. I do see your post now. Even if the illegals are NOT at the hospitals, it doesn’t matter. At this rate they will be in your spare bedroom and the Delco Council is facilitating that with their sanctuary policy. Demand that they revoke Delco’s santuary status immediately! Stop the madness, the gaslighting, and stop destroying our county!

A word of caution…This could be an attempt at entrapment like J6. I advise bold questioning of our elected officials but to remain lawful and peaceful at all times.

Read Christine Reuther’s rebuttal. She parses her words very carefully. She denies that there IS a plan, but not that there ever WAS a plan. Past tense can mean yesterday. She deflects from the allegations to make ad hominem attacks. She throws out a straw man argument for why using the hospital would not be feasible for housing.
Then, in the Delco Council meeting last night, Christine also mentioned in passing that not every member of the Delco Council support DA Jack in his run for AG. That strangely confirms my source’s claim that a democrat leaked the story to help AG candidate, DA Jack. Immediate curious facial response and body language, and from Councilwoman Elaine Schaefer when I told them I believed that the plan was a practical plan and that it is logical they would consider it, but that someone in Jack’s camp did not want it to happen. They have been exposed.
Look, I don’t blame the illegals for wanting to come here. I don’t blame the council for being in the situation to need to house them. I do blame the insane, reckless, and treasonous open borders policy of Biden and of Delco that is killing our young with fentanyl, making our streets like Kensington, driving down wages of the poorest Americans, taking scarce resources from our kids to service illegal youths that should be at home in their own countries with their own families. Don’t even get me started on drug and human traffic.
At the Delco Council meeting last night, Solicitor Jonathan Lichtenstein denied that Delco is a sanctuary county. I beg to differ. Here is my evidence:
https://cis.org/Full-Screen-Map-Sanctuary-Cities
Councilwoman Christine Reuther also denied that Delco has formed a Commission for Immigrant Affairs. I guess she doesn’t bother to check the county website:
https://www.delcopa.gov/departments/immigrantaffairscommission.html
They have been exposed and rightly so!

In looking at the map, if you click on each little square for the different counties, it shows who specifically designated each county as a sanctuary county. In some counties, it was a mayoral decision, in others it was the county council, etc. In ours, it says it was the prison authorities who did it back in 2014. So the question is, does the county council control the prison authorities in making a designation like this? It would’ve been GEO back in 2014. But now the George Hill is back in the hands of the county, so maybe it’s different. Also, there are different stipulations pertaining to ICE requests for each county. Compare Philadelphia county to Delaware County and you’ll see what I mean (if you haven’t already).
